Cookie Policy
Published: 9 September 2026.
This page lists every cookie this website can set, what each does and how long it lasts. It goes with our Privacy Policy, which explains who we are, what personal data we hold and your rights over it.
The cookies this site uses
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
tpmc_consent | Us | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask on every page. Holds only your choice and the date. Strictly necessary once you have made a choice. | 12 months |
_ga | Google Analytics, only after you click Accept | Gives your browser a random identifier so repeat visits are counted as one visitor. | 2 years |
_ga_RYVSXXY73D | Google Analytics, only after you click Accept | Keeps track of a single visit (a “session”) for our Google Analytics property. | 2 years |
| Functional cookies | Formspree (our forms) and Calendly (our booking calendar) | Needed for those services to work and to protect against spam and abuse. Strictly necessary, so no consent is needed. | Set by the provider |
dd_session | Us, only when a member of our staff logs in to /deal-desk | Keeps our staff signed in to our internal Deal Desk tool. It is never set for visitors, because the public does not log in. Strictly necessary, so no consent is needed. | 8 hours |
Vercel Web Analytics, our other page counter, sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Our internal /deal-desk tool is used only by us and is excluded from analytics.
What Google Analytics collects
If you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view and any click on a link that leaves this site, together with the time, the page that referred you, your device type, operating system and browser, and your approximate location (country and, usually, town or city). Google states that it does not log or store your IP address. We have switched off advertising features, Google Signals and cross-site tracking. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Google Analytics data processing terms. It may do so in the United States, where Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which the UK Government has recognised as an adequate safeguard.
How long the data is kept
The consent cookie lasts 12 months. The Google Analytics cookies last two years on your device unless you delete them or withdraw consent, in which case we delete them. Inside Google Analytics, we have set event data to be kept for 2 months, the shortest period Google offers. Aggregate reports (page totals with no identifier attached) may persist beyond that.
How to accept, reject or change your mind
A banner appears on your first visit with two equal buttons, Accept and Reject. Nothing from Google is loaded until you choose, and nothing at all is loaded if you reject. To change your choice, click Cookie settings in the footer of any page: the banner reopens and you can switch either way. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Questions and complaints
Email info@tpmcgroup.co.uk and we will explain or fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection and cookies, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
